Dr. Hyman Ettlinger, a Harvard-trained mathematician, came to UT in 1913. Between 2017-2018 Austin was an apprentice under Dale Chilton of Chilton Custom Cues. Between 2018-2019 he worked for Jacoby Custom Cues and between 2020-2021 he worked for Southwest Cues.
