Drove from Illinois to Texas yesterday for work and about half way here, check engine light came on. Just had it looked at and comes back to P0299.Investigate the PCV system - specifically the check valve in the intake manifold. It's probably missing, and would be the cause of blue smoke @ startup from all the oil being ingested into the intake side of the motor.
